What to include

To help us respond faster, include the following in your message:

  • The page URL you are referring to
  • The numbers you entered and the result you got
  • What you expected the result to be, and why
  • The browser and device you are using (so we can reproduce display bugs)

Common requests

Found a bug or wrong calculation

Send the inputs, the output you got, and the value you believe is correct. If your value comes from a published source — manufacturer spec sheet, reference book, university website — please include the link. We update calculators within a week of confirming a bug.

Want a new calculator

Tell us the use case and what shapes or units it needs. The calculators we already have cover most household and trade questions, but we add new ones based on reader requests every month.

Question about your project

Describe what you are building or measuring, and we will point you at the right calculator and any relevant guide. We cannot do engineering or structural work for you, but we can help you find the right formula.

Press or partnership inquiries

Use the same email address. Include “press” or “partnership” in the subject line and we will route the message internally.

Privacy or data requests

We do not collect personal information about visitors, but if you have a question about our analytics or want to know what data (if any) we hold, send us a note. See our privacy policy for the details.

What we cannot help with

  • Doing project-specific engineering or structural calculations. Use a licensed professional.
  • Vehicle-specific shipping cost quotes. Contact the carrier (UPS, FedEx, U-Haul, Penske, etc.) directly.
  • Material orders. Use a local supplier with our cubic feet result as the order quantity.
  • Sponsored content or paid placement on calculator pages. We do not accept advertorials or paid links.
