CalculateCubicFeet (“we”, “us”, “the site”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, what we do with it, and what rights you have.

Short version
We do not collect personal information about you. Your calculator inputs are processed entirely in your browser and never sent to our servers. We use privacy-respecting analytics that do not identify individual visitors.

Information we do not collect

The site does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

  • Your name, email address, or contact details
  • Your IP address, beyond what is logged briefly by our hosting provider for security
  • Any of the dimensions, measurements, or calculations you enter into our tools
  • Files you upload or photos of your project
  • Any account credentials (we do not have user accounts)
  • Payment information (the site is free; nothing is sold here)

How calculators work

Every calculator on CalculateCubicFeet runs in your web browser using JavaScript. When you type a length, width, height, or radius, the math happens locally on your device. The result is displayed on your screen. Nothing leaves your computer or phone.

We do not have a database of your inputs because there is no server collecting them. If you close the tab, the data is gone.

Analytics

We use a privacy-respecting analytics service to understand which pages are popular, which calculators see the most use, and where to focus our content updates. Specifically:

  • We track aggregate page views, not individual visitors
  • No cookies are placed for analytics purposes
  • No cross-site tracking
  • Your IP address is not stored long-term
  • No data is shared with advertisers, social networks, or data brokers

If you would prefer no analytics tracking at all, you can use a browser extension like uBlock Origin or Privacy Badger, or enable Do Not Track in your browser settings. The site will work normally either way.

Cookies

CalculateCubicFeet uses a single, optional cookie to remember your dark/light theme preference. That cookie:

  • Stores a single value: your theme choice
  • Is stored only on your device
  • Is never read by any other website
  • Expires after 12 months if not refreshed
  • Is not used to track you across the web

You can clear this cookie any time through your browser settings without affecting site functionality.

Third-party services

The site is hosted on a content delivery network. Your browser connects to the CDN to download the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that make the site work. The CDN logs basic technical information (IP address, request time, browser version) for security and abuse prevention. Those logs are typically kept for less than 30 days.

We embed three external resources:

  • Web fonts from Google Fonts (Inter, Plus Jakarta Sans, JetBrains Mono)
  • An analytics script (described above)
  • Schema.org structured data (purely descriptive, no tracking)

We do not embed third-party advertisements, social media widgets, or chat tools.

Children\u2019s privacy

The site is suitable for general audiences, including students using cubic feet calculators for school projects. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13, because we do not collect personal data at all.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal information, there is no profile, account, or stored history to access, correct, or delete. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific data-protection rights (such as GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California, or PIPEDA in Canada), those rights still apply, but in practice they amount to: you can ask us to confirm we hold no personal data on you, and we will confirm.

Data retention

Since we do not collect personal data, there is none to retain. Aggregate analytics (which page got how many views) is kept indefinitely because it is not associated with any individual.

International transfers

The site is hosted on a global content delivery network with edge servers worldwide. When you visit from any country, you typically connect to the nearest server, so your traffic stays in your region. No personally identifiable information is transferred internationally because none is collected.

Security

All site traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. We follow industry-standard practices for hosting and content delivery. Because we do not store user data, the surface area for a breach is essentially zero.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if our practices change (for example, if we add a new feature). When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and post the new policy at this URL. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 30 days.
